iPRECIATION is proud to present a Ju Ming Exhibition, in collaboration with Hongkong Land. The Exhibition will feature Ju Ming’s renowned sculptures, at various locations in Central, Hong Kong:
Location of Artworks, Central, Hong Kong
(i) Ju Ming’s celebrated Taichi Series will be featured at the Open Plaza, Exchange Square. The Monumental bronze sculptures measure approximately 1.5 to 2 metres, in both height and length.
(ii) Ju Ming’s life size painted wood sculptures, from the Living World Series, will be featured at The Rotunda, Exchange Square. One exclusive wood block from the same series, measuring an extensive 5 metres in length will also be featured.
(iii) Ju’s recent creations, the Living World Series- Swimming, will make its inaugural debut in Hong Kong, at the Landmark. The sizable sculptures are casted in Stainless Steel, and exemplify Ju’s astute familiarity with a range of materials. The medium of Stainless Steel, was previously employed in the creation of select forms in the Taichi Series.
iPRECIATION Hong Kong, located at Shop LG3, Jardine House, will also feature Ju Ming’s Living World Series painted wood sculptures, and a rare selection of the artist’s stone works.
This is the first time Ju’s Living World Series creations, will be presented at a public venue.
The artist will be present at the Exhibition Opening Night on June 1, 2010.
