每次站在商場高層看著中庭來來往往的人們，都有一種頭目暈眩的感覺，在嚴重商場化的生活環境裏，面目雷同的人們以密度極高的分佈方式出現在物欲的氤氳之中，不同階層的香港人，只要負擔得起，幾乎都一致地加入了以購物和飲食為主的“減壓”行爲。我最近的繪畫，仍然沿用那些個性模糊卻可愛的小黑人，表達人們的生活狀況、人們對物質的依附以及兩者奇妙的關係：物質主義促成了更美好的生活？還是它在生活中處處爲難我們？

計劃迄今已踏入第三年，旨在資助藝術創作，為香港藝壇注入創意新氣象。獲資助藝術家將享有:
• 港幣$100,000購買物料
• 每月津貼港幣$18,000（共三個月）
• 完成作品將由香港青年藝術協會及Bloomberg協助籌辦展覽或表演
